BELGOROD, October 21 Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian military fired 15 shells at two border regions of the Belgorod region, the regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported on the Telegram channel.
On Saturday, the governor published statistics on the shelling that occurred in the region on October 20. On Friday, the Ukrainian military fired 15 shells from grenade launchers and mortars at two border municipalities; according to the head of the region, there were no casualties or destruction during the reporting day.
«In the Volokonovsky district, the outskirts of the village of Stary were fired from a grenade launcher and mortar — 7 grenade launcher shots and 6 mortar shells were recorded. There were no consequences,» — Gladkov wrote.
He added that in the Shebekinsky city district, two shells were fired from an LNG-9 grenade launcher into the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka.
A high (yellow) level of terrorist danger has been established throughout the Belgorod region since April 11, 2022. The need to introduce a regime is caused by the aggravation of the situation on the Ukrainian-Russian border and the increased activity of the Ukrainian military in the border areas. The length of the Ukrainian border with the Belgorod region is 350 kilometers.
