A person died as a result of a fire in a five-story building in the city of Kotelnikovo, Volgograd Region. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Two more people, as RIA Novosti writes with reference to the department, were injured.
The administration of the Kotelnikovsky district clarifies that there was a “pop” in the house. Local officials told RIA Novosti that household gas exploded in an apartment on the fifth floor. The estimated fire area is 96 square meters. Rescuers report that the fire has already been extinguished.
