MOSCOW, October 23 Former US President Donald Trump said, that Sidney Powell, who pleaded guilty to election fraud, was never his lawyer.
Previously, Powell, who was part of the team of lawyers for former US President Donald Trump, pleaded guilty in the case of attempts to change the results of the presidential election in Georgia in exchange for replacing the actual prison sentence with a suspended sentence.
““Powell was not my lawyer, never has been,” Trump wrote on the Truth Social social network.
Trump himself and 18 of his associates are accused in the case of attempting to use “racketeering” methods to replay the results of the 2020 presidential election.
