NOVOSIBIRSK, October 25 A battery from a vape device brought by a student exploded at school No. 19 in Tomsk on Wednesday, there were no casualties, the Tomsk regional prosecutor’s office reports.
““Today, October 25, 2023, a vape battery brought by one of the students exploded in the municipal autonomous educational institution Secondary School No. 19 of Tomsk,” the department said in a statement.
The prosecutor's office clarified that, according to preliminary information, there were no injuries or casualties, and classes at school are being held as usual.
«The prosecutor's office of the Oktyabrsky district of Tomsk organized an inspection for compliance with the requirements of legislation on education and the prevention of juvenile delinquency,» noted the supervisory department.
