Lawyer Alexey Kovalenko from the law office “Kovalenko and Partners”, who also deals with repatriation to Israel, told The Moscow Times that “consular checks at the Israeli embassies of all former countries USSR suspended indefinitely.»
Kovalenko explained this by saying that “embassy security officers were recruited for military service in Israel as reservists.”
