CHELYABINSK, 25 OctInvestigative authorities opened a criminal case of hooliganism after a man beat a child on the street in Miass, Chelyabinsk region, the investigative department of the RF Investigative Committee for the region reported on the department’s telegram channel.
Previously on the social network VKontakte A video was posted on a page dedicated to Miass showing boys running across the road in front of a moving car. The car stops, the driver catches up with the children and pushes one of the boys. The child falls on the asphalt, the driver hits him in the face and kicks him, and then leaves. The prosecutor's office clarifies that the incident with the third-grader occurred on October 24.
“»Based on this fact, the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Chelyabinsk Region has opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime provided for in paragraph «a» of part 1 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (hooliganism),» the message says.
The identity of the person who committed the crime has been established, he was interrogated by an investigator of the Russian Investigative Committee as a suspect.
It was previously reported that the Miass prosecutor’s office was conducting an investigation in connection with this incident.
