St. Petersburg police detained a repeat offender, who set fire to the relay cabinet on the Slavyanka-Obukhovo section. This was reported by the SHOT Telegram channel.
According to the source, law enforcement officers arrested a 26-year-old man who had previously been charged in criminal cases. The last time he was accused of theft, but the repeat offender escaped from arrest and was on the federal wanted list.
Police officers opened a criminal case under Article 167 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Deliberate destruction or damage to property.” Punishment includes up to five years in prison.
