MOSCOW, Oct. 27 Ukrainian troops for the week lost about 1,700 people in the Kupyansk and Krasnolimansk directions, Russian units repelled more than 90 enemy attacks, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on Friday in the department’s Telegram channel.
In the Kupyansk direction, the “Western” group of troops over the past week repelled 47 enemy counterattacks and occupied more advantageous frontiers and positions. Aviation strikes and artillery fire damaged the personnel and equipment of the 25th Airborne, 14th, 32nd and 41st Mechanized, 68th Jaeger Brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Ivanovka and Sinkovka of the Kharkov region, Sergeevka and Novoegorovka of the Lugansk People's Republic republics. In addition, four warehouses with weapons and ammunition of Ukrainian Armed Forces units were destroyed.
““The total enemy losses over the past week amounted to over 705 military personnel, a tank, 11 armored combat vehicles, 19 cars, as well as five field artillery guns,” — the ministry said.
In the Krasnolimansk direction, the Center group of troops, with the support of aviation, artillery fire and heavy flamethrower systems, repelled 45 attacks by assault detachments of the 24th, 63rd and 67th mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the 15th regiment National Guard of Ukraine.
“Enemy losses in this direction amounted to more than 1020 military personnel, 20 armored combat vehicles, 14 vehicles and three guns,” the Ministry of Defense specified.
