MOSCOW, October 27 Russian President Vladimir Putin invited members of the Security Council of the Russian Federation to consider additional measures to strengthen the regulatory framework in order to stop the illegal entry of weapons into Russia.
The President on Friday held an operational meeting with permanent members of the Security Council, at which he discussed issues of arms trafficking on the territory of the Russian Federation.
«»We need to look at all these channels, look at how departmental control measures are organized, look at what needs to be done additionally to strengthen the regulatory framework. In general, there is a large complex of issues here,» Putin said.
He noted that at the meeting on this issue the head of the Russian Guard Viktor Zolotov and the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Vladimir Kolokoltsev will report.
