Earlier, the Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of Komi, Ekaterina Kiselevich, reported that a fire that broke out on Sunday at an unused oil reservoir in Komi spread to a neighboring reservoir where there is oil. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, the area of ​​the fire was 360 square meters, one person was injured.
“Firefighters localized the fire in the Komi Republic,” the department informs on its Telegram channel.

The press service of the Lukoil-Komi company previously reported a fire at a decommissioned reservoir near Usinsk near the village of Verkhnekolvinsk. The incident, the preliminary cause of which was a violation of safety regulations, occurred during work carried out by the contractor Ecolife. According to preliminary data from Lukoil-Komi, as a result, one Ecolife employee died and two were injured. Kiselevich cited data on one death and one injury, who received burns on 30% of the body surface.
