MOSCOW, October 29, Andrey Mikhailov. CSKA midfielder Maxim Mukhin encountered problems obtaining a visa to Germany for surgery on an injured knee, head coach of the Moscow football club Vladimir Fedotov said at the post-match press conference.
Mukhin was injured in the away match of the 12th round of the Russian Championship against Rubin Kazan (0:0). The 21-year-old player will soon travel to Germany, where he will undergo surgery.
““So far, Mukhin is not going to Germany for unknown reasons. Maxim has a delay in obtaining a visa,” Fedotov said.
When asked how Mukhin's serious injury affected the team, the CSKA head coach replied that losing players for a long time is always problematic. “The calendar is busy and we don’t have many people,” he added.
This season Mukhin took part in 16 matches in various tournaments, in which he scored two goals.
