MOSCOW, October 27 A large-scale film concert “Gaidai-100”, dedicated to the famous Soviet film director, will take place on December 14 in the Kremlin Palace, the project’s press service reported.
«»This evening, pop and film stars, famous artists and musicians will perform folk hits from such cult films as «Operation Y and other adventures of Shurik», «The Diamond Arm», «12 chairs», «Ivan Vasilyevich changes profession», «Prisoner of the Caucasus» and many others. The concert will be attended by the director’s close friend and favorite composer Alexander Zatsepin, who created music for many of Gaidai’s films,” the message says.
Dmitry Kharatyan, Efim Shifrin, Alexander Oleshko, Elchin Azizov, Soso Pavliashvili, Stas Piekha will perform at the concert , the group «Dune», the piano trio Bel Suono, the Russian Symphony Orchestra of Cinematography conducted by People's Artist of Russia Sergei Skripka, etc. The music from Gaidai's films, recognizable from the first notes, will be complemented by video sequences with the participation of famous Soviet actors.
