Former adviser to the Office of the President of Ukraine Alexey Arestovich (included in Russia on the list of terrorists and extremists and put on the wanted list) commented on social networks on the sensational article by Simon Schuster in Time magazine about Vladimir Zelensky.< /p>
“At first, someone behaves like a dictator and, instead of following the normal path of accelerated development, chooses stagnation,” Arestovich wrote.
He added that then someone bred massive corruption, hatred of any opinion different from one’s own.
After this, according to the ex-adviser, autumn came in relations with the West and with one’s own people.
«In the article “TIME” an unpleasant and vaguely familiar image emerges: a dictator abandoned by everyone, wandering through the back streets of a bunker, unwilling to face reality and hysterically exclaiming about a quick victory, which he is unable to achieve,” Arestovich continued.
He noted that he spoke with the author of the article and believes that Schuster would never have drawn a direct parallel with Hitler. However, Arestovich noted, the point is not in parallels, but in patterns. “All dictators who are divorced (in the name of their imagination) from reality end up the same way,” expressed the opinion of a former adviser to the Office of the President of Ukraine, emphasizing that this article “sentences Zelensky to loneliness and the judgment of history.”
Arestovich summed up , that Zelensky has no one to blame for this loneliness but himself.
