“The Investigative Department for the city of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Sakhalin Region, following a media report about the infliction of bodily harm on a child in one of the kindergartens by a teacher, organized a pre-investigation check,” the department’s statement notes.
According to local media, the mother of a child born in 2017 filed a statement with the police. She said that she discovered hematomas on the child’s body after visiting kindergarten. According to the kindergartener himself, he was beaten by the teacher.
