TYUMEN, November 3. Industrial production in the Tyumen region increased by more than 10 percent in the nine months of 2023, Governor Alexander Moore reported in his Telegram channel.
«Industrial production in the Tyumen region grew by more than 10 percent in January-September 2023. These data are provided by Rosstat. The manufacturing sector of the regional economy is developing at a faster pace — here the growth was almost 15 percent,» Alexander Moor wrote in the post .
The governor especially noted that the production of computers, electronic and optical products in the region has more than doubled, and the production of medicines has increased by 1.3 times. The growth in production of vehicles and equipment, construction materials and petroleum products exceeded 20 percent.
The head of the region considers industrial development to be a sustainable trend. “In 2020, the Tyumen region demonstrated a significant increase in industrial production — almost 14%. In 2022, the index decreased slightly, but in 2023 we are again in the “green zone,” emphasized Alexander Moore.
