MOSCOW, November 2. Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated the participants of the Russian Science Foundation on the 10th anniversary, noting that the organization has made a significant contribution to the development of promising areas of scientific research thoughts, the corresponding telegram was published on the Kremlin website.
“The creation of the Foundation was a major event in the life of the domestic scientific community and served to strengthen its creative potential. Over the past time, the Foundation has convincingly proven its relevance, made a significant contribution to the development of promising areas of scientific thought and modern technologies, the implementation of innovative projects and initiatives, and has done a lot to support achievements of young scientists,” the telegram says.
The President also emphasized the need for practical use of the results of applied developments in such areas as microelectronics, medicine, low-carbon energy, agriculture, ecology and digitalization. The head of state noted the importance of interaction between science and the real sector of the economy.
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, in his congratulations to the staff of the Russian Science Foundation, noted that the Russian Science Foundation provides active support to young scientists, higher educational institutions, and organizations in various fields.

All these years you have been actively supporting young scientists, higher educational institutions, and organizations. He added that RSF grants provide an opportunity for well-known and young scientists to conduct fundamental and exploratory scientific research, development work, and implement innovative projects. Many of them became laureates of prestigious awards of the President of the Russian Federation and the Russian Government.
In conclusion, he expressed confidence that the high professionalism of the Russian Science Foundation team will continue to contribute to the strengthening of the scientific and technological sphere of Russia, and also wished the team new successes and achievements and bright discoveries.
