MAKHACHKALA, November 4. A regular passenger bus traveling from Stavropol to Kaspiysk caught fire on Saturday night in Dagestan, there were no injuries, the press service of the main Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the republic.
“At 03.00 (Moscow time) … information was received that at the entrance to the village of Babayurt, Babayurt district, on the federal highway P-215, a regular passenger bus was burning, traveling along the route Stavropol – Kaspiysk… There were no casualties as a result of the fire,” – the message says.
According to the department, there were a total of 38 people on the bus, including eight children. The passengers got out of the bus themselves before the fire and rescue unit arrived. At 03.25 the fire was completely extinguished in an area of 32 square meters.
The federal highway is not blocked, traffic is proceeding as usual.
