MOSCOW, November 5 Leader of the French Patriots party Florian Filippo, on his page on the social network X, criticized the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, after she announced the 12th package of sanctions against Russia.
“Ursula von der Leyen, while on a trip to Kiev, just announced the 12th m package of anti-Russian sanctions to please Zelensky,” he wrote.
According to Bloomberg, the list of new restrictions may include the supply of chemicals, technologies used for military purposes, processed metals, aluminum goods, and construction products and transportation, welding machines, as well as software licenses. In addition, a ban on the import of Russian diamonds is being discussed. According to the publication, it is planned to introduce measures against attempts to circumvent sanctions through third countries.
The politician noted that the previous 11 packages did not weaken Russia at all, and only negatively affected Western countries. So, in France, for example, electricity bills rose sharply and inflation began.
“Let's stop this madness! Let's cancel all these counterproductive and destructive sanctions!” – called Filippo.
On Wednesday, President Vladimir Putin said that foreigners themselves are confused by sanctions against Russia, and in their fantasies they reach the point of absurdity, banning the import of screwdrivers and needles. Moscow has repeatedly emphasized that the country will cope with the pressure that the West began to exert several years ago and continues to intensify.
