MOSCOW, November 4. Honored Artist of Russia Galina Mochalova died at the age of 90, this was reported at the Comedian's Shelter theater.
The artist passed away 2 November, she was only 16 days short of her 90th birthday. “We offer our most sincere condolences to the family, friends, and all fans of Galina Vladimirovna’s talent,” says the obituary.
Mochalova was born on November 18, 1933, graduated from the Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography (now the Russian State Institute performing arts), at various times she served in the Lensovet Theater, the St. Petersburg theaters “Comedians” and “Comedian's Shelter”. In 2007, she was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Russia.
Mochalova’s filmography includes 87 works, including the TV series “Major-3”, “Streets of Broken Lanterns”, “Secrets of the Investigation”, “Foundry”, “Sherlock Holmes” ” (2013), “The Master and Margarita” (2005).
