The Israel Defense Forces say it hit an ambulance carrying Hamas militants and killed several of them. This was reported on the official IDF telegram channel.
“We have information that shows that Hamas’s method of operation is to transport terrorists and weapons in ambulances,” the Israeli army added.
As the IDF clarified, the strike hit an area located in the combat zone, from where civilians were advised to evacuate to the south.
The Israel Defense Forces did not say where exactly the strike took place. According to the Palestinian agency WAFA, on the evening of November 3, IDF aircraft attacked the area near the Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza.
WAFA claims that as a result of the airstrike, “dozens of civilians” were injured or killed. According to the Palestinian agency, Israeli planes and artillery also hit a convoy of ambulances that was transporting the wounded to Egypt.
Today, Al Hadath TV channel, citing the Palestinian Ministry of Health, reported 150 injured medical workers and 57 destroyed ambulances help.
