MOSCOW, Nov 4. Russia's reaction is commensurate with that As lawlessness on the part of the collective West grows, there should be no doubt about the firmness and determination of Russian President Vladimir Putin, said press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov.
"Our reaction is commensurate with how lawlessness on the part of collective West. <…> In this regard, no one should have doubts about the firmness, determination and, most importantly, the ability of our president, who is the Supreme Commander-in-Chief,” he said at an event of the Russian Society “Knowledge” at the international exhibition and forum “Russia”.
When asked how he manages to remain calm and not lose composure in a difficult situation, Peskov replied that this was more of an acquired skill rather than a character trait. He admitted that, like most, he went through a period of youthful maximalism.
"But I was lucky in my life, probably, to meet the main teacher. Vladimir Putin,” Peskov added.
He said that Putin has never been seen restless, uncollected, inattentive.
"That’s why I’m trying to at least somehow resemble all these qualities.” ;,” he noted.
Peskov admitted that it doesn’t always work out, “but at least there is something to strive for.”
