MOSCOW, Nov 4. Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov, speaking at the exhibition-forum “Russia” at VDNKh, dispelled speculation about “doubles” of the head of state.
According to him, information about Vladimir Putin’s “doubles” periodically appears in various Telegram channels. Peskov noted that now “experts” are wondering how many there are – three or four.

"Whom we now see every day, this morning they laid (flowers. – Ed.) to Minin and Pozharsky – is this the third or fourth “double”? It's not clear, right? “We have only one Putin,” Peskov said.
Messages have repeatedly appeared on the Internet about the alleged presence of many doubles of the Russian President. Peskov, commenting on them, noted that they belong to the category of absurd information canards and cause nothing but a smile. As for Putin himself, according to the press secretary of the head of state, he reacts to these messages with irony.
