MOSCOW, Nov 4. Russia has become its own policy to pay more attention to the eastern direction, Russian President Vladimir Putin held very substantive negotiations in China, said his press secretary Dmitry Peskov.

Speaking about Putin’s recent visit to China at the “One Belt, Let One” forum, Peskov noted that “very substantive negotiations with Chairman Xi” took place there, as well as negotiations in delegation format. The leaders communicated one-on-one, he recalled.
“And when the leaders of Russia and China communicate face to face for several hours, it attracts the attention of the whole world,” Peskov noted.
