Canadian authorities have added the singer to their sanctions list Jasmine, the newspaper “Izvestia”, “Parliamentary newspaper” and REN TV. This was reported on the website of the country's government.
In total, nine people and six organizations were subject to restrictions. Among them is the project Russia Beyond< /span>, Institute of State and Law of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Center for Social Conservative Policy, as well as former Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov, Advisor to the Minister of Defense Andrei Ilnitsky and others.
At the end of September, the Canadian sanctions list included MGIMO, Higher School of Economics (HSE), “Yunarmiya” and “Young Guard of United Russia”. A year ago, US authorities also imposed sanctions against singer Jasmine.
