MOSCOW, Nov 10 The German government claims that the “pro-Russian hacker group” NoName057(16) is responsible for a number of cyber attacks in Germany, including attacks on the German railway company Deutsche Bahn, Spiegel reported.
This group of hackers is reported to be launching cyber attacks against countries supporting Ukraine. According to Spiegel, NoName057(16) specializes in DDoS attacks. The German Interior Ministry warned the country's Ministry of Defense about the threat of cyber attacks on resources owned by the Ministry of Defense, the publication notes, citing a confidential report from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to private cybersecurity company Sekoia, one of the most frequent targets of NoName057(16) attacks was personal website of German Foreign Minister Annalena Bärbock, reports Spiegel. In addition, according to the publication, the group is threatening attacks against German banks and regional authorities.
The Russian authorities have previously repeatedly denied involvement in cyber attacks and hacker activity, expressed their readiness to cooperate in the fight against hackers and conduct a dialogue on cybersecurity.
