VLADIVOSTOK, November 10. The captain of the An-2 plane, which made a hard landing in Chukotka, is in serious condition, reports the regional headquarters of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
An-2 with a passenger and two crew members on board on Friday stopped communicating during the route Pevek — Polyarny — Pevek, rescuers by helicopter and all-terrain vehicle went to the last coordinates, but due to bad weather the helicopter had to be recalled. The plane was eventually found — all three on board were injured but survived. The captain went on foot to search for a communication point. Later he was found by artel employees.
