MOSCOW, November 10 Traffic stopped at the 662nd kilometer of the M-4 Don highway in the Voronezh region due to an accident, Avtodor reported in its Telegram channel.
"Due to an accident, there is no traffic on km 662 M-4 Don" in the Voronezh region. Traffic diversion has been organized. “Towards Moscow at 672 km towards Moscow and towards the south at 636 km,” says the Avtodor message.
As a representative of the GUMVD for the Voronezh region said, the accident occurred in the Pavlovsk district around 15.00 Moscow time at the 662nd kilometer of the Don highway.
“”According to preliminary data, the driver of a heavy-duty Renault vehicle with a semi-trailer lost control, as a result of which he collided with a digital stand support, which fell onto the roadway. As a result of the accident, the driver of the heavy truck died at the scene before the ambulance arrived,” said a representative of the GUMVD.
The police are checking, State Traffic Inspectorate employees are clearing traffic jams on the highway.
