WASHINGTON, November 11 Police in the American capital reported the theft of their car, asks for help in solving a crime.
As the police write on the social network X, the car, a gray Ford Explorer, “was stolen at night from the campus of the University of the District of Columbia.” Law enforcement is asking for help finding a stolen car.
In early November, the Washington mayor's office announced that it would distribute free electronic beacons to citizens due to an increase in car thefts. The trackers are provided to car owners from six Washington districts, where police are recording the greatest increase in thefts. The distribution of beacons began this week.
