The 35th garrison military court in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky sentenced serviceman Kirill Antonov to three years in a general regime colony. This is reported on the court's website.
Antonov was found guilty of leaving a military unit for more than ten days during the period of mobilization (Part 3.1 of Article 337 of the Criminal Code).
The press service of the court did not specify what kind of service Antonov served . The case file states that he left the unit in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and “was absent from service for a long time without good reason, spending his time at his own discretion.”
In June, Antonov was detained by officers of the military commandant’s office and taken to a military unit. The materials of the criminal case against the serviceman were received by the court on October 9.
Urgency — AWOL — condition — death. A 19-year-old Omsk resident died in Ukraine; after the verdict, he was again sent to the front.
