DUBAI, November 14 Russia, in the conditions of the Northern Military District, does not seek to increase arms sales abroad , but is working to load domestic enterprises with export contracts in the future, Rosoboronexport CEO Alexander Mikheev said during the Dubai Airshow 2023.
In recent years, Rosoboronexport has consistently ranked second in the world in arms exports with sales volumes of about $13 billion per year.
“»In the context of a special military operation and based on the primary task of the Russian military-industrial complex, which is to meet the needs of the Russian Armed Forces, it is not time to talk about competition for a place in the world market and the desire to increase the volume of exports of Russian products,» — said Mikheev.
At the same time, the general director of ROE noted that today the Russian special exporter ensures the utilization of domestic defense industry enterprises in the future.
“In addition, the company is intensively working to form a portfolio of technology contracts that will bring dividends after the start of joint ventures abroad,” added Mikheev.
