MOSCOW, 14 Nov. The concert of the group «Gorky Park», scheduled for December 5, was postponed for three months due to the death of relatives of the group's founder Stas Namin, the organizers of the performance reported.
“
"In connection with the tragedy that occurred in the family of the founder and producer of the group "Gorky Park" Stas Namin, the Moscow concert of the legendary rock band is postponed to March 1, 2024 and will be held at the Crocus City Hall concert venue. All previously purchased tickets will be valid,” the message says.
It is noted that the upcoming concert will be the starting point of the Gorky Park world tour in 2024.
Namin will present a modern international composition of the rock band, which will include guitarists and vocalists Oleg Izotov, Marco Mendoza (USA), Timofey Grigorovich, Sergei Arutyunov, as well as drummer Kenny Aronoff (USA) and the lead vocalist of the first line-up of the group Nikolai Noskov.
In mid-October, Roman Mikoyan, Namin’s stepson, confessed in the murder of his brother Artem and grandmother Polina Tkachenko. Their bodies with multiple stab wounds were found in a cottage in the village of Kryukovo, Istrinsky district, Moscow region.
The motive for the murder was a long-standing family conflict. An investigation is underway.
