The price of the SUV produced at the plant in the Lipetsk region is already known: the starting price is 4,920,000 rubles (excluding state support) .

Under the Evolute brand, which appeared last year, the Russian company Motorinvest produces electric vehicles; their production is established at an enterprise in the Lipetsk region. The brand's current lineup includes the i-Pro sedan (which is a slightly modernized Dongfeng Aeolus E70) and the i-Joy crossover (based on the Fengon E3 EV/Seres 3), and now they are joined by another SUV – the Evolute i -Sky. Serial production of this new product has started today.

Produced by Evolute i-Sky

The company officially announced the Evolute i-Sky crossover in the spring of this year, and in mid-summer the price of the new product became known and then dealers began accepting orders. Now Motorinvest has announced that mass production of this model has started today. Let us remind you that it is also based on the “Chinese”: this time the Forthing Thunder SUV, which debuted at the end of last year, acted as a donor. The list of visual differences for the Russian model includes only logos and nameplates.

The Evolute i-Sky is available exclusively with front-wheel drive, its single electric motor producing 204 hp. power, and its maximum torque is 340 Nm. The model is equipped with a traction battery with a capacity of 85.9 kWh. The range on one charge is 511 km (calculated using the WLTP cycle). With fast charging from 30 to 80%, the battery is replenished in 45 minutes. The i-Sky takes 8.6 seconds to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h, and its top speed is 180 km/h. The model has three driving modes – Eco, Comfort and Sport.

In terms of dimensions, this SUV is comparable to the Toyota RAV4: length is 4565 mm, width – 1860 mm, height – 1680 mm, and the distance between the axles is 2715 mm. The Evolute i-Sky has McPherson struts at the front and independent suspension at the rear. The ground clearance of this electric crossover is 175 mm, trunk volume is 480 liters, and the declared curb weight is 2025 kg.

The crossover is presented in one configuration, the equipment includes: 19-inch wheels, LED optics, panoramic roof, leather interior trim, climate control, ventilation, massage and driver seat memory functions, six airbags, all-round cameras, parking valet , a standard video recorder, cruise control, as well as a lane change assistant, blind spot monitoring, a frontal collision warning function and other cars in reverse cross traffic. The Evolute i-Sky has a single display on the front panel, combining a virtual instrument panel and a touchscreen for the infotainment system. A winter package is also available for the SUV, which includes heated exterior mirrors, windshield, washer nozzles, as well as heated front seats and steering wheel.

Since July, the recommended retail price of Evolute i-Sky has increased, now it is 4,920,000 rubles (305 thousand rubles more than at the start of pre-orders) . Taking into account state subsidies for Russian-assembled electric cars, the cost can be reduced to 3,995,000 rubles (5 thousand rubles more than in the summer), however, for this you need to purchase on credit from a bank participating in the relevant program.

We would like to remind you that in the future the Evolute line will be replenished with the i-Van minivan, which in China is sold under the name Forthing Lingzhi M5EV (the brand is part of the Dongfeng portfolio), as well as the i-Jet SUV, which is based on the Seres SF5 (the Seres brand belongs to Sokon, which has a joint venture with Dongfeng).
