The cause of death of the former commander of the 6th Army has been named Air Force and Air Defense of the Russian Federation Vladimir Sviridov and his wife. According to the SHOT telegram channel, they were poisoned by carbon monoxide.
The bodies of the victims were found in their private house in the village of Andzhievsky, Stavropol Territory. The house was equipped with an automatic, electronically controlled gas water heater connected to the mains. When the electricity was cut off, the fuse in it should have tripped, but this did not happen.
As a result, about a week ago at night, while the couple was sleeping, the power was turned off in the village, and the house was filled with gas. The couple suffocated.
When the lights were turned on, the gas supply stopped. After a week, the bodies were discovered, but by this time the measurements no longer showed that the permissible concentration of harmful substances in the house was exceeded.
