MOSCOW, November 13.The Ostankino court in Moscow on Monday imposed a fine of 50 thousand rubles on the writer Dmitry Glukhovsky* due to failure to submit foreign agency reports to the authorized body, the court reported.
““The court found D.A. Glukhovsky* guilty of an administrative offense under Part 2 of Article 19.34 of the Administrative Code and imposed a fine on him in the amount of 50 thousand rubles,” said the agency’s interlocutor.
In June, the court already fined the writer 40 thousand rubles under the same article. In addition, earlier the same Ostankino District Court reviewed another protocol against Glukhovsky* for the absence of a foreign agent sign in publications on social networks, and imposed a fine on him, also 50 thousand.
He was added to the register of foreign media outlets in October 2022. And in August of this year, the Basmanny Court of Moscow sentenced the author of the novel “Metro 2033” in absentia to eight years in a general regime colony on charges of disseminating false information about the Russian Armed Forces.
As the court found, Glukhovsky* posted videos on his social networks with allegations that the Russian Armed Forces allegedly deliberately shelled residential buildings, schools and hospitals, massacred civilians, and so on.
