In the Nizhny Novgorod region a pensioner died due to a fire that was accidentally started by her seventh-grader grandson. The Ni Mash telegram channel writes about this.
The tragedy happened near Vyksa. According to the channel, the grandmother lived alone under the supervision of relatives from the same village. Her grandchildren came to visit her, and she asked one of them, a seventh-grade student, to light the stove with spruce firewood.
The teenager complied with his grandmother’s request, but when the stove caught fire, the wood began to crack and coals flew. They started the fire. The guy rushed to get water to put it out, but the flames burned out too quickly. Then he asked his grandmother to climb out through the window, but she couldn’t and died in the fire.
