KRASNOYARSK, November 19. Power outages occurred in more than 100 settlements of the Krasnoyarsk Territory due to strong winds, according to the Telegram channel of the regional head office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Earlier, the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that strong winds were blowing in the central and southern regions of the region, at times gusts reaching hurricane strength – up to 33 meters per second. The department warned that a sound warning system for hurricanes was operating in the region, and asked not to panic and be careful. The Rosseti Sibir company reported that the Krasnoyarskenergo branch has been transferred to a special operating mode. In Krasnoyarsk, the wind blew away roofs and felled trees in 50 areas. The forces and means of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are on high alert.
“The situation at the moment: 113 settlements were shut down; roofs were torn off in seven municipalities,” the message says.
26 teams of PJSC Rosseti Siberia and JSC Krasnoyarsk Regional Energy Company were involved in emergency restoration work. 113 people and 32 pieces of equipment are working on the restoration. The situation is under the control of the regional headquarters and the regional government.
