KRASNOYARSK, November 18. In Achinsk in the west of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a case has been opened for the murder of a 12-year-old boy, whose body was found on the river bank, reports the regional headquarters of the Investigative Committee.
The child’s disappearance was reported from a resident of Achinsk on Friday. Investigators determined that the 12-year-old boy did not return from school on Thursday.
“»A criminal case has been opened in Achinsk for the murder of a teenager… As part of the search efforts, the body of a boy was discovered on November 18, 2023 in the Mazulka River, which flows within the boundaries of the city of Achinsk, with signs of violent death,» the message says.
The department noted that a knife wound was found on the body. A number of forensic examinations are currently scheduled. The department clarified that in the evening and night the child was on the territory of a peer’s home. The victim's peer and his stepfather are being checked for involvement in the crime.
