The foreign ministers of Japan and South Korea condemned the launch of the DPRK satellite

TOKYO, November 26 Foreign Ministers of Japan and South Korea Yoko Kamikawa and Pak Chin, during a meeting in Busan, condemned the action carried out on November 21 launch of the DPRK reconnaissance satellite, the Japanese Foreign Ministry said.
“The ministers strongly condemned North Korea's November 21 launch using ballistic technology, even if its purpose was to launch a satellite, as a clear violation of relevant UN Security Council resolutions,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The ministers also expressed concern about the unprecedentedly frequent missile launches from North Korea and expressed their readiness to cooperate at the level of the UN Security Council and at the trilateral level of Japan, South Korea and the USA.

Japanese Foreign Minister Yoko Kamikawa is on a visit to South Korea, where she is taking part in the 10th trilateral meeting of the foreign ministers of Japan, China and South Korea.
