MOSCOW, November 27 Since the beginning of last year, over 5 million units of products have been supplied to city medical institutions by a resident of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ under an offset contract, said Vladimir, Deputy Mayor of the capital for economic policy and property-land relations Efimov.
“The capital entered into an offset contract with the company in 2019. Under its terms, the investor invested over a billion rubles in the creation of an innovative production facility for the production of medical products for ostomy patients in the city. Over the course of 8 years, Moscow will purchase products from the company worth 8.6 billion rub. Since January last year, the manufacturer has supplied over 5 million units of products under an offset contract. The medical products produced by the company meet all modern requirements and are not inferior in quality to imported analogues,» said the vice mayor, quoted by the city press service complex of economic policies.
Under an offset contract, the GemaTech company (part of the Gemamed Group of Companies) organized the production of more than 40 types of medical products. She has been a resident of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ since 2019.
In turn, Vladislav Ovchinsky, Minister of Government, Head of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, said that previously about 90% of medical products for people with impaired excretory function and ostomy patients were produced outside our country. Today, this enterprise plans to produce over 60 different types of similar products.
As noted by the head of the pharmacy department of the capital's Department of Health, Mikhail Ignatov, thanks to this offset contract, the need of city medical organizations for basic medical products for ostomy patients is completely covered.
According to the general director of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ Gennady Degtev, since the beginning of this year 21 new jobs were created in the company, and there are 70 such jobs in total.
The press service noted that at each stage of the production cycle, medical products, raw materials and materials undergo thorough testing and inspection in the laboratory, which is located in the production complex. The high-tech production process is carried out in accordance with the national standard for the production of medical devices. All of the company's products have the necessary certificates, including the «Made in Moscow» certificate.
«In 2024, the company plans to launch a new production line, which will significantly increase the number of products to provide patients throughout Russia,» — The press service cited the words of the head of the production service of the enterprise, Alexey Drondel.
The special economic zone «Technopolis Moscow» is a territory with a special legal status, where there is a preferential regime for business activities for investors. It is home to over 200 high-tech enterprises, of which 93 have resident status. This allows them to receive significant benefits. The area of 6 sites (Pechatniki, Alabushevo, Mikron, MIET, Angstrem, Rudnevo), where high-tech enterprises of the SEZ are located, exceeds 275 hectares.
