DONETSK, December 5 A civilian was injured in as a result of the shelling of Gorlovka by Ukrainian troops, the mayor of the city Ivan Prikhodko reported in his Telegram channel.
““As a result of the Ukrainian armed aggression, a peaceful Gorlovka resident was wounded,” Prikhodko wrote.
The DPR representation in the JCCC earlier on Tuesday reported seven shellings of Gorlovka by Ukrainian troops, which also used NATO 155-mm caliber cluster shells and unmanned aerial vehicles.
Gorlovka is located 50 kilometers north of Donetsk, the city is home to the Stirol chemical concern and coal mining enterprises. This is one of the largest populated areas of the DPR; before the start of the conflict in Donbass, the population of Gorlovka numbered more than 250 thousand people.
