MOSCOW, December 1 Valery Gergiev, who headed the Bolshoi Theater, long ago solved the personnel problem at the Mariinsky Theater, where the Academy of Young Singers was opened, the head of the presidential department told reporters Russia for public projects Sergey Novikov.
On Friday, the Russian government announced that Gergiev has been appointed general director of the Bolshoi Theater for five years. Vladimir Urin was relieved of this position at his own request.

According to him, students at the academy first sing in an ensemble, but already on the stage of the Mariinsky Theater, together with masters, they participate in performances, and then they make a solo career.
