The Sovetsky District Court of Volgograd registered the materials of a criminal case against a resident of the region, Daniil Vodolagin. Mediazona found the case file in the court database.
Vodolagin is accused of distributing “fakes” motivated by political hatred (clause “e” of Part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code). What became the reason for criminal prosecution is unknown.
Probably, the defendant was Daniil Vodolagin from the city of Dubovka, Volgograd Region. Previously, he published various posts on his Twitter until October 2022, including anti-war ones.
In June, a person with the same name was fined 15 thousand by the Dubovsky District Court of the Volgograd Region — he was found guilty of inciting hatred and enmity (Article 20.3.1 of the Administrative Code) due to comments in the group “Overheard Dubovka” in “ In contact with». In his publications, he called Russians “cattle” who “see no one but themselves.”
In addition, in June 2022 he was brought to justice for distributing prohibited symbols (Part 1 of Article 20.3 of the Administrative Code). The reason for the protocol then was a picture with a swastika, published by him on VKontakte back in 2016.
