During the negotiations, Alexander Lukashenko and Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan discussed issues on the busy bilateral agenda,» the message says.
It is recalled that back in February, during the previous meeting, the heads of state agreed to deepen cooperation in a number of areas. “Belarus and the United Arab Emirates launched important projects, today the leaders of the two countries synchronized watches on the progress of their implementation. Last year, the United Arab Emirates took third place in terms of the total volume of investments made in the Belarusian economy. A high level of political dialogue has developed between the countries, which also confirmed by the intensity of contacts at the highest and highest levels,» the statement said.
It is emphasized that the UAE is the main trading partner of Belarus among the Arab states of the Gulf, trade turnover between the countries is systematically growing, recently showing impressive dynamics and results.
According to the message, Lukashenko thanked his Emirati colleague for the warm welcome and attentive attitude towards the Belarusian delegation.
Judging by the photograph published by the agency, the meeting was also attended by the eldest and youngest sons of the Belarusian president, Viktor and Nikolai.
