MOSCOW, December 8 The Popular Front team was waiting Russian President Vladimir Putin’s decision to nominate him for the next term and supports it, said the head of the movement’s executive committee, Mikhail Kuznetsov.
«This is the decision that we were waiting for by the entire large team of the Popular Front. We stand with our president,» Kuznetsov said.
Previously, Putin announced his participation in the Russian presidential elections, which will take place in March 2024. Putin was elected president of Russia four times — in 2000, 2004, 2012 and 2018. After the adoption of amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation, he received the right to stand as a candidate in new presidential elections in 2024.
