State Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region were informed of the expulsion from the country of migrant families whose children had previously extinguished the Eternal Flame in Krasnoe Selo.
As Fontanka writes, the day before, passers-by noticed that the flame on the monument had gone out and called emergency services services. Having looked at the recordings of CCTV cameras, the police established that three teenagers were on the monument and throwing snowballs into the fire.
The regional headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, meanwhile, said that during the check it turned out that the parents of these children from Uzbekistan were on the territory RF without completing all the required documents. In this regard, the police are preparing materials for the court, which will have to decide on the deportation of both families.
