MOSCOW, December 12 Users of the social network X sharply criticized Vladimir’s words Zelensky about the need for Russian President Vladimir Putin to defeat in the conflict with Ukraine.

Commentators, in turn, negatively assessed such a call from the head of the Kyiv regime.
“Your desire to defeat Putin is the embodiment of mutually assured destruction. There is no guarantee of security on this path, there is only extinction. You are the enemy of humanity,” GirkeHanjo pointed out.

Zelensky will visit the White House on Tuesday and meet with senators and the speaker of the US House of Representatives. Congress, however, has not approved the administration's request for new aid to Kyiv and probably will not consider it until the New Year.
The White House request for an additional 60 billion is blocked by the Republican opposition, most of which wants to exchange aid for radical migration reform, and a minority generally questions the advisability of further spending and calls for efforts to end the conflict.
