The first part of «Cheburashka» about the famous animated character was directed by Dmitry Dyachenko. The film premiere took place on January 1. Within two weeks, the film became the highest-grossing film in the history of domestic distribution. Box office receipts in Russia and other CIS countries exceeded 7 billion rubles.
