MINSK, December 14 President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko stated that Minsk supported and will support Russia as its ally.
«We have never hidden this. This is our ally. We will not allow Russians to be shot in the back through the territory of Belarus. We adhere to this principle. We have supported and will continue to support our ally in every possible way. Just like all the states at this table ( CIS — ed.),» Lukashenko said during a meeting with participants in a meeting of heads of CIS security agencies and intelligence services.
Lukashenko noted that Belarus and Russia have the closest military-political cooperation. He added that Minsk has a transparent policy in this regard.
The head of state also stated that Belarus does not hide information received through intelligence channels from its CIS partners, shares it, and is ready to do so in the future.
