On the night of December 14, the Russian military launched 42 Shahed-136/131 drones towards the Odessa region, and Ukrainian soldiers were able to shoot down 41 of them. This was reported by the press service of the Air Force Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
As the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klimenko said, as a result of the attack in the Odessa region, 11 people were injured, including three children. 2 apartment buildings and 11 private houses were damaged.
Also, according to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, at night a missile strike was carried out in the Kherson region — one person was killed there. “Later, the Russian military attacked Kherson twice. Rescuers put out fires in an apartment building and a business center. Fortunately, there were no casualties,” Klimenko added.
The Russian Ministry of Defense also reported on the drone attack. According to department estimates, nine drones were shot down over the Kaluga and Moscow regions at night. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin wrote that two drones were heading towards the capital, but they were shot down over the Naro-Fominsk urban district.
