DONETSK, December 14 Two civilians were killed and three more were injured as a result of a rocket attack on the Leninsky district of Donetsk by Ukrainian troops, reported in telegram channel, city mayor Alexey Kulemzin on Thursday.
«As a result of the shelling of the Leninsky district in the vicinity of the Cosmos circus, there are two dead and three wounded. Personal details are being clarified,» says the mayor's Telegram channel.
«I heard a series of 'arrivals', looked out the window, and at that moment it flew into the building. There's nothing to say, it's very scary. After the arrival, I called emergency services, went out onto the balcony and heard the victims, people were crying out for help,» he said eyewitness Evgeniy at the scene of the strike.
Earlier, the DPR representative office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine (JCCC) reported that Ukrainian troops fired three MLRS missiles at the area at 13.00 .
Leninsky district is located in the southern part of Donetsk and is relatively distant from the contact line.
